an array of new bookish delights you'll love

Hi Reader,

I've got a handful of bookish things for you today! Dare I say there's something for everyone?!

We've got some new celebrity book club picks. I'm currently listening to the Read With Jenna pick, and it's FANTASTIC! It may be one of my favorites of the year (so far).

I recently finished and wrote a review of a 5-star backlist read: the 800+ page A Little Life. This is a popular book, but help is definitely necessary! My full book review (without spoilers) is one I'm really proud of, and I feel confident it can help you read it or think back on it too.

I also recently published ACOTAR guides for Book 2, including a detailed character list. This one started slow for me but ended really strong. On to book 3!

Fall 2024 will bring a holiday novella in The Maid book series and spring 2025-- a new full-length novel!

The final month of my Summer Reading Challenge is upon us. We're reading guilty pleasure escape reads, and I'm hoping to finish up Elin Hilderbrand's Paradise trilogy. If you're heading on vacation this month, I've got many great beachy recommendations in the challenge post.

We're also starting a new August challenge for The Rory Gilmore Book Club. We're reading books from 2000-2007, when Gilmore Girls originally aired. I selected The Kite Runner.

For Gilmore Girls fans, I also updated my list of books like Gilmore Girls. It's almost fall, after all!!

Hope you have a good, and very literary, week.

Remember, it's a good day to read a book.

-Jules
