these July reads are HOT!!🔥

Hi Reader,

A new month always means I have so much I want to tell you, and I *hate* deciding what to share and what to leave out. So, this time, I just listed it all for you!

First, as I mentioned over the weekend, we're in month two of our Summer Reading Challenge. If you haven't started yet, it's super simple and easy to catch up. My July pick is A Happier Life by Kristy Woodson Harvey. I also added a bonus social media template, including a "Christmas in July" pick, which I'll be doing. I did this last year, and it was fun!

For my book club, The Rory Gilmore Book Club, we're reading short books from the Gilmore Girls reading list this month. My pick is the play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

New celebrity book club picks for July have been announced. I already read Reese's early, and it was just middle-of-the-road for me. Jenna's is high on my list. GMA's is new to me, but I'm intrigued.

I updated my list of June's bestselling books if you want to read something popular.

One of my most anticipated books of the year (if not my #1 most anticipated), The God of the Woods by Liz Moore is out today. I'm dropping everything to listen. Also out this month on my list are Until Next Summer by Ali Brady (7/9) and A Novel Summer by Jamie Brenner (7/16).

The popular Old Navy "Good Days Book Club" tee is on sale again for the holiday. The last time I shared it, tons of you scooped it up!( I sized up.)

If you want to build your second-half of 2024 reading list this July, check out my list of Best Books of 2024 (So Far). It's been a hit with readers already!

Remember, it's a good day to read a book.

-Jules

P.S. - Have a great long holiday weekend if you're celebrating!! We have pretty minimal plans (mostly just a few errands), but one thing's for sure -- I'll be reading in my outdoor reading nook!
